Eduard 1:72 A-26C Invader painting masks are a set of self-adhesive kabuki masks for clean spraying of the glazed cockpit and the glazed nose of the Douglas A-26 attack aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
These painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard are intended for models of the Douglas A-26 Invader attack aircraft in the A-26C version, in 1:72 scale. The parts in low-tack kabuki tape cover the glazing of the cockpit and the subdivided glazed nose position, so that straight, crisp frames remain after spraying. Masking is quick and needs no cutting of tape.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engined attack and light bombing aircraft from the end of the Second World War, which went on serving in Korea and Vietnam. The A-26C version was notable for a glazed transparent nose for the navigator and the bombardier, unlike the solid attack nose of the B version.
Lift the parts off the sheet, transfer them to the glazing and press them down with a soft tool along the frames. Finish covering the glazed nose with strips of tape or liquid mask. Spray the color of the frame and then the exterior shade, and remove the masks while the paint is freshly dry.
The masks are an accessory for spraying, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
