A-6E/KA-6D Intruder wheel bay plugs 1:72 (Omask)

A set of shaped covering plugs for the landing gear bays of models of the carrier-based Grumman A-6E Intruder attack aircraft and its KA-6D tanker version in 1:72 scale. It is neither a kit nor a landing gear part but a painting aid: soft foam inserts fill the wheel bays exactly and protect them from overspray and drifting paint while spraying. It assumes the Italeri or Revell kit, which you obtain separately.

Use

• You push the plug into the wheel bay before spraying the exterior surfaces of the model.
• The foam holds by its shape, does not stick, and you take it out once the paint has dried.
• The bays stay clean and ready to be painted separately.
