Quickboost AC-47 - minigun barrels 1:72 is a set of resin barrels for multi-barrel machine guns for models of the AC-47 gunship. It is a detailing accessory, not an aircraft model.

This detailing set from the Czech manufacturer Quickboost (the Aires workshop) contains resin barrels for the rotary machine guns (miniguns) with which the gunship version of the transport aircraft known as the AC-47 was armed. On sets of this kind the barrels are cast sharply and with the muzzle suggested, which plastic cannot manage on thin cylindrical parts. The set is a replacement part for models in 1:72 scale, not a standalone model.
The AC-47 gunship fired from side-mounted 7.62 mm rotary machine guns. The resin barrels replace the coarser plastic parts and visibly improve the armament projecting from the side of the fuselage. Similar miniguns were carried by a number of other machines too, so the barrels can be used on other projects as well.
Cut the thin barrels off the casting block very carefully with a fine saw so that they do not break. Glue them with cyanoacrylate. The painting can be handled with dark steel shades and a light lift on the edges; protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set contains the resin barrels only. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
