This set contains resin ejection seats of the VS-1 type in 1:72 scale, made as a detail accessory for a model of the Aero L-39C Albatros trainer and light attack aircraft from the manufacturer Eduard. This is not an aircraft model, but a set of replacement parts that replace the less accurate plastic seats from the original kit. Thanks to being cast from a mold, it offers sharp detail — the profiled seat pan, backrest and mechanism. Due to the cockpit's tandem layout, the set usually contains two seats (for both the front and rear pilot positions).

What the Accessory Is For

The accessory raises the accuracy of the cockpit interior, which is clearly visible through the L-39's glazed canopy. It replaces the simplified plastic parts and brings the model closer to a real seat with straps and a headrest. It is made for the corresponding L-39C kit from Eduard in the same scale.

Procedure and Tips for Working with Resin

• First wash the parts with lukewarm water and detergent to remove residual mold-release agent
• Carefully separate the seats from the casting blocks and level the surfaces
• Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue); ordinary plastic modeling cement does not hold on resin
• When sanding and cutting resin, protect your airways and work with extraction
• Apply a primer before painting, and highlight the detail with a wash
