A resin detail set of four AIM-9L Sidewinder air-to-air missiles in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a stores accessory for models of Western combat aircraft.
The AIM-9L was the first variant of the Sidewinder able to attack from the forward hemisphere, which made it a highly effective missile in its day. It was carried by machines such as the F-16, the F/A-18, the F-15 and the Tornado. Faithful stores sharpen up the underwing load of a model.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Use a smooth gloss base under the decals. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
