This is a resin accessory for dioramas, vehicles and interiors, not a model. The set holds American M1 type ammunition boxes for the .30 caliber (7.62 mm) machine gun in 1:72 scale. The parts are printed from resin on a 3D printer and faithfully capture the shape of the boxes and their latches.
Boxes in .30 caliber are smaller than those for a heavy machine gun and suit infantry machine guns, jeeps and light vehicles. Placed around a scene, they give a diorama scale and conviction.
Given how small the parts are in this scale, proceed carefully. Before separating them from the supports, dip the parts in hot water; the resin softens slightly and does not chip. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a filler primer before painting and bring them to life with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
