The Mirage F1 is a French supersonic combat aircraft that differs strikingly in shape from the earlier machines of the Mirage line: instead of a delta wing it received a conventional swept wing mounted high on the fuselage, and that is why it looks slimmer and more angular. The F.1CT form came about by modifying fighter examples for attacks on ground targets. It is precisely on such an aircraft that the underwing loads make up a substantial part of the look, and a model with empty hardpoints looks unfinished next to a photograph of the real machine.
A pod designated AN-APX TACTTS carried underwing, and with it a pylon and a rack, that is, the parts needed for the pod to stay in its place and in the right attitude on a model. The set is listed for the Mirage F.1CT model and other machines of the same line. The exact number of parts, the placement on the aircraft and further details are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for plastic models will not join them; reach for super glue and apply it in tiny drops. Cut off the excess material and the traces of manufacture with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest flat; on the thin pylon work in small sections so that it does not bend. Wash and degrease the parts before painting and use a primer, because a finish will otherwise not hold on a smooth surface. Fit the pod only after the aircraft has been painted, when you have free access to the hardpoints and do not have to work around the load with a brush. Try the position of the pylon dry and only then glue it, because with super glue there is no time left for a correction.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
