Apennine Eurofighters Part III is a sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the brand Model Maker for models of the Eurofighter Typhoon. It is an accessory, not a kit - the decals are transferred to a model that is already built and painted. According to the name it is the third part of a series, followed up by further parts.
Decal softeners and what to expect of them. A modern combat aircraft has shaped transitions, panel joints and raised covers that a flat decal will not pass over by itself. That is what two products are for, both of them normally sold separately: a decal fixative (decal setter) is applied to the area before the decal and improves adhesion, while a softener is brushed onto a decal already placed on the model, and the carrier film softens so far that it draws into the engraving and around raised detail.
Work over small areas at a time and do not touch a decal once the product is on - a softened film tears or wrinkles easily. Wrinkling that looks like ruined work usually levels itself out as it dries. With deeper engraving it helps to pierce a decal with the tip of a scalpel once it is dry and to apply the softener a second time. Not every softener is equally aggressive, so try it on a scrap offcut from the sheet before you let it onto large, prominent markings.
The decals are an accessory for a model. The model, the paints, the varnishes and the softeners are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
