A set of cast resin landing gear covers from the Quickboost brand meant for a plastic model of the Japanese Kawasaki Ki 61-I Hien fighter in 1:48 scale. This is an aftermarket accessory that replaces the factory plastic parts with more faithful castings of finer detail.
The Kawasaki Ki 61 Hien was a Japanese fighter aircraft of the Second World War, unusual for its liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, thanks to which it had a slender nose. The Allies assigned it the code name Tony. It was committed on the Pacific battlefield as well as in the defense of the Japanese islands.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate the casting blocks carefully and glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The kit itself and the glue are not included in the package.
