An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Panhard 178 armored car in the B version with an Fl type turret, in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand RPM. The set contains the shared sprue with the hull and the wheels and a separate sprue with the Fl type turret; it is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model offers decals for vehicles in colonial service.
The Panhard 178 was a French armored car with four-wheel drive. The B version with a cylindrical Fl type turret arose in a later period; in production form it carried a 47 mm gun and a machine gun. The vehicles also received an improved engine and radio equipment and were built after the Second World War. They served in the French colonies and some examples stayed in service until the 1960s.
Finish the chassis and the seating of the cylindrical turret before closing the hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, treat the surface with a primer and paint with an airbrush. Sand and olive shades suit the colonial vehicles, supplemented by dust weathering and washes to bring out the details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
