This is an aftermarket accessory in cast resin from the Quickboost brand, which the Czech company Aires makes. It is not a kit but a set of accurate castings of the exhausts of the early version, intended to be swapped for the plastic parts of the base kit of the British Avro Shackleton aircraft in 1:72 scale.
The Avro Shackleton was a British long-range maritime patrol aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce Griffon piston engines. The exhaust pipes are among the prominent features of the engine nacelles and their faithful rendering lifts the overall impression of a model. This set matches the early configuration of the exhausts.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut them carefully off the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding resin. The mouths of the exhausts stand out with a dark wash and fine pigment for the effect of scaled metal.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin castings. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
