This is an accessory set, not an aircraft kit. Its subject is the forward part of the fuselage with the bomb aimer's station on the B-25C and B-25D versions in 1:72 scale. The glazed nose is exactly the place a viewer looks into first on a finished model of this type, so the extra work pays off. The set is developed for one particular kit of this type.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engined medium bomber with twin fins and Wright radial engines. The B-25C and B-25D versions were built with a glazed nose in which the bomb aimer had his place; later variants with a solid nose carrying guns belong to other versions and have the nose arranged completely differently. The pairing of version and nose shape therefore fits this set, and the bomb aimer's station does genuinely belong in the B-25C and D.
The parts may be resin or plastic, so match the procedure to the material of the parts in the package. Wash resin castings in lukewarm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a disc and level the surface with a file; sand wet and with respiratory protection. Resin is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), plastic with ordinary modeling cement. The glazing of the nose is a sensitive spot, so glue the clear part with glue made for transparent parts, which does not fog them, and polish it before gluing. Paint and weather the inside before you close the nose up, and do not forget the small things you will see through the glazing. Level the transitions at the joint with the fuselage with filler and sand them back, so that no edge shows.
