Resin exhausts for the American twin-engine medium bomber B-26 Marauder in 1:72 scale from the Quickboost brand. It is not an airplane model but an accurate replacement part for more experienced modelers, which replaces the plastic exhausts from the kit with more faithful castings and so brings out the area around the engine nacelles.
The B-26 Marauder was a fast American medium bomber of the Second World War powered by two radial engines. The exhausts at the nacelles are among the features that look coarse and solid in plastic; the resin replacement is more slender and takes painting and weathering effects better. The part is intended to refine an existing Marauder model in the same scale.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue from the mold. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife or a fine saw and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) - ordinary plastic cement does not hold on resin. Repaint the exhausts in burnt metal and rust shades and bring them out with soot deposits.
It is supplied as an unpainted resin accessory for finishing a model. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
