A resin replacement wheel set in 1:72 scale for the American twin-engine B-26 Marauder bomber in the B, C, F and G versions. The wheels are cast with fine relief on the tread and the rim and replace the simplified plastic parts of the kit. The set is an accessory for a matching plastic model; the aircraft itself is not in the package.
The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War period. It was marked by an aerodynamically clean fuselage, high wing loading and a relatively high landing speed, which earned it a reputation among crews as a demanding machine. Once its handling was mastered, it was among the most effective and durable bombers, used above all in Europe.
Wash any mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the casting blocks; do the sanding of resin with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue. Spray the tires in a matte blackish gray and the rims separately, and suggest dust and wear with pigments if you wish. An accurate wheel replacement improves how the model sits on its base.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
