1:72 B-29 Superfortress interior is a full photo-etched set from Eduard focused on the interior of a model of the B-29 bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit, but an extensive accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
Unlike the reduced variant this is a full photo-etched set, and the name makes clear where it is aimed: into the inside of the aircraft. Thin metal here replaces parts that cannot be molded finely enough in plastic, typically brackets, frames, grilles and wall panels. It is precisely on a bomber with a glazed nose and accessible crew stations that this pays off, because the interior is visible in several places at once.
The inside of the B-29 differed fundamentally from the bombers of its day. The pressurized crew compartments were connected by a tunnel above the bomb bay and the defensive turrets were controlled remotely from sighting stations, so inside there was an unusual amount of equipment and little room for gunners at the weapons. The machine was designed for long flights at high altitude over the Pacific, and the arrangement of the navigator's and radio operator's stations matched that.
Interior sets are fitted as the first step of a build, before you bring the fuselage halves together, so count on the set before you start gluing. Keep checking dry whether the halves still join without force, as a layer of metal on the walls can add more than one would expect. Degrease the metal parts you are going to paint and give them a primer for metal, otherwise the paint comes off during further handling. And it pays to think about what will be visible in the end: there is no need to spend time on places covered by plastic.
