Precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks from the maker Montex for the kit of the B-45A Tornado bomber in 1:72 scale. The Tornado has a glazed nose and a long fighter-style canopy over the pilot's cockpit - it is on machines like these that masks save the most time and guarantee uniform, sharp framing on all the clear parts.
The North American B-45 Tornado went down in history as the first jet bomber taken into regular service with the US Air Force. It flew shortly after the Second World War and represented the transition between the piston era and the incoming generation of jet machines: it still had a straight wing and a classic glazed nose for the bombardier, but it was powered by four jet engines in paired underwing nacelles. The B-45A version was the first production variant; reconnaissance derivatives of the type later carried out risky deep penetration flights over enemy territory in the Cold War era as well.
Wash and degrease the clear parts and seat the masks with tweezers piece by piece - on the glazed nose work systematically from the center toward the edges. Press the edges down thoroughly, spray light layers and take the masks off while the paint has not fully cured. You can suggest the inner frames with a first layer in the interior color.
This is a modeling accessory - the kit of the aircraft itself is not included in the package.
