This resin accessory is a finely detailed main landing gear bay for models of the Bristol Beaufighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail set that replaces the simplified bay from the original kit with a richly rendered casting complete with ribs, runs of piping and structural detail.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and, if necessary, open up the recess in the wing so that the part seats exactly. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For the full effect use a primer, subtle differences of shade and a wash in the recesses to bring out the structure. Protect your breathing when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
