A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the wheel bay doors of the British Bristol Beaufighter heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. The Beaufighter was a capable twin-engine machine with radial engines, used in the Second World War as a night fighter and as an attack and torpedo aircraft. The part is meant for more experienced modelers who work with resin.
On a model with the landing gear down the doors are clearly visible and the way they are rendered rounds out the technical look of the engine nacelles and of the whole underside of the fuselage. The resin castings offer a thinner section and more accurate inner detail for the doors than the thicker plastic from the box. Once painted and brought out with a wash, the wheel bays look natural.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
