This is not an aircraft model but a resin accessory. The set replaces the out-of-the-box exhaust stacks with more faithful castings with open mouths. It is intended for early Bell P-39D and export P-400 Airacobra models in 1:72 scale.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter with the engine behind the cockpit and tricycle landing gear. The P-39D version and the export P-400 were among the first production and combat machines with which the Airacobra entered the Second World War with American and Allied units. Realistically rendered exhausts are among the details that visually enliven the side of the fuselage.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash off the mold release and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Always test the fit dry first. We recommend dark metallic shades, a hint of burning and a light dusting with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
