This is a finished collector model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 fighter in 1:72 scale from Easy Model. The model carries the color scheme and the markings of the Romanian Air Force. It is factory-assembled and hand-painted, so once unpacked you place it straight into a display case.
The Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was a single-seat fighter with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine and one of the key fighters of the early part of the Second World War. The E-3 version was among the early production variants. Besides home service, Bf 109E machines also served with a number of friendly and allied air forces, the Romanian among them.
The model has the cockpit, the landing gear and the canopy worked out and tends to be supplied with a base. The color scheme and the markings match the chosen real subject. The surface is weathered at the factory and looks realistic even without further work.
The model is supplied assembled and painted, ready for display. It is not meant for building or gluing.
