A resin control lever for the cockpit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires) - a fine detail for the pilot's station.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail part for more experienced modelers, not an airplane model. The precisely cast control lever for the cockpit replaces the coarser plastic part from the kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:72 scale. The resin version has a finer shape and sharper detail, which in a small scale markedly livens up the view into an open cockpit. The accessory is made by the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires).
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, was one of the key versions of the German fighter and the main opponent of the British machines in the Battle of Britain. It was powered by a Daimler-Benz inverted V12 engine. The cockpit interior held a number of small controls whose faithful rendering in 1:72 scale is demanding for plastic kits.
First wash the part in lukewarm soapy water, so that any mold release residue disappears. Separate the small lever carefully from the casting block with a sharp knife, clean up the surface and glue it in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Work with tweezers and in good light, because the part is small and easily flies off. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
