This 3D-printed resin accessory from the Czech maker Eduard holds the underwing gun pods for models of the Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighter in the F, G and K versions in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a detail set that adds to the combat fit of the aircraft.
The underwing pods carried supplementary gun armament and were fitted under the wings of Bf-109 fighters to raise their firepower. The set reproduces them faithfully by direct 3D printing with sharp shapes and fine detail. The parts are glued under the wings and so add to the fit of the base kit.
Wash the print resin residue off the small resin parts and separate them carefully from the supports. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Mark the exact position and check it dry before gluing, so that the pods sit symmetrically. Tie the painting in with the shades of the lower wing surfaces.
The set holds no aircraft model and no paints or glue. It serves as an accessory to a plastic kit.
