Quickboost 1:72 pitot tube for the Bf 109F/G/K is a resin replacement part for refining the model of the German fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin replacement pitot tube for the model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the F, G and K versions in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a small detailing part from Quickboost. The casting replaces the often coarse and easily broken plastic part with a more delicate and more accurate tube on the leading edge of the wing.
The Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War and went through constant development. The F version, nicknamed Friedrich, the G, nicknamed Gustav, and the K, nicknamed Kurfürst, formed the later and most widely produced series, powered by Daimler-Benz engines. The pitot tube that measures airspeed is a small but conspicuous element whose delicate execution contributes markedly to the realistic look of a finished model.
First wash the part free of mold release agent residue from the mold. Separate it carefully from the casting block with a sharp cutter and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Do the sanding with respiratory protection, because resin dust is very fine. Before painting, roughen the surface lightly and apply a primer suitable for resin.
This is an accessory for refining a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
