This resin detail set in 1:72 scale from Aires offers a more accurate replacement for the wheels of a plastic kit plus a set of masking film. The set is made for the late variants of the Bf 109 fighter and, once painted, improves the look of the landing gear markedly. It is not an airplane model in its own right but an accessory for an existing model.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was among the most widespread fighters of the Second World War. The late G-10 and K versions brought a more powerful engine and a number of aerodynamic reworkings that let them reach higher speeds. They were recognizable among other things by the reworked cowling and the glazed canopy.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Lay the masks on a clean surface and apply the paint in thin coats. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a resin accessory for more experienced modelers, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
