The LööKplus set from Eduard for the Bf-109G-4 model in 1:72: an instrument panel with belts and further small parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
Equipment for the cockpit of a small Messerschmitt model, put together around a separately made instrument panel with belts. The plus designation means that Eduard has packed further small components in with the panel. It is bought for a model the customer already has; the aircraft as such is not included.
The Bf 109 G-4 followed on from the G-2 and differs from it outwardly only with difficulty. The changes concerned mainly the equipment: new radio gear arrived and the machines were given larger main wheels, because of which they had to have more pronounced bulges in the wing. For modelers it is exactly this detail that is the clue to telling the two versions apart. The use of the G-4 falls in 1943, when the Gustavs bore the main weight of the fighting in the east and in the Mediterranean.
First try whether the panel goes into the fuselage without pressure; if not, take material off the seat in the model, not off the set. It is glued in spots, so that excess does not reach the visible side. Because the cockpit of the small Messerschmitt is narrow, check before closing the fuselage that the canopy will seat once fitted. The final impression is helped by polishing the glazing and applying a thin coat of clear varnish to it. Check the composition of the package on the box.
