A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand from the manufacturer Aires in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone horizontal tail surface (stabilizer) with which you replace the plastic part on a finished model of the Bf 109G-6 fighter. The resin rendering offers a more accurate profile and a finer surface.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6, nicknamed Gustav, was a German single-seat fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by a liquid-cooled inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine. The horizontal tail surface provided the longitudinal stability and control of the aircraft.
Wash the mold release residue off the part, carefully separate the casting block and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Before painting, check that both halves are seated symmetrically.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
