A resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. This set in finely cast resin refines the flaps of the German twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110 heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. It replaces the parts from the box with faithfully rendered flaps with a fine texture and makes it possible to fit them in the lowered position. The set is intended for more advanced modelers with resin experience.
Lowered flaps give a static model dynamism at once and faithfully convey the impression of a machine ready for takeoff or landing. The casting captures the fine texture and the thin edges that are hard to create from solid plastic, and it also reveals the internal structure of the flaps. Once painted and lightly weathered, the transitions between the wing and the flap look completely natural.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
