A set of resin exhausts for the German twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110E heavy fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part with more faithfully rendered outlets on the exhaust stacks, replacing the flat or blanked plastic exhausts from the base kit, not a model of the aircraft in its own right.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter of the Second World War, powered by two inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 601 engines. The exhaust stacks ran along the engine nacelles, and their shape and angle are characteristic of the aircraft. The Bf 110E version was among the types used both as a fighter-bomber and as a heavy fighter.
Resin parts need more care than plastic: first wash them to remove mold release residue, carefully separate them from the casting block and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. The exhausts come into their own once painted in dark metallic and rusty shades with the edges lightly picked out; dry-fit the stacks against the fuselage to check their angle before gluing.
