A resin detail set of propellers for a model of the German twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110 G series fighter in 1:72 scale from Quickboost (Aires). The set replaces the plastic propellers with precisely cast resin parts with the correct blade shape and with spinners, which refine both engine nacelles.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter used during the Second World War. The G series was powered by a pair of liquid-cooled Daimler-Benz DB 605 engines and proved itself among other things as a night fighter. Each engine nacelle carried a three-blade propeller with a spinner.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, carefully separate them from the casting blocks and sand the marks down. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting and lay the paint down with an airbrush in thin coats. On both propellers, mind that the blade alignment matches and that the spinners seat smoothly.
This is not an airplane model but a resin accessory for more advanced modelers. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
