Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109G-14 fighter in 1:72 scale from Academy. The model offers a solid level of detail and a clear breakdown of parts, and thanks to the optional parts it makes it possible to build a late version of the G series. Decals for period machines are in the package. The kit builds cleanly and suits modelers with basic as well as more advanced experience.
The Bf 109 was the backbone of the German fighter force throughout the Second World War. The G version, the Gustav, was the most numerous, and the G-14 was among its late forms of 1944, with modified armament and aerodynamic details. The tall offset vertical tail surface and the bulges on the cowling over the synchronized guns are the usual recognition features of the late Gustavs. The Bf 109 was built in tens of thousands.
Finish and paint the cockpit before joining the fuselage. Check which cowling and armament variant the parts offer and choose the combination matching the machine you are building. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, and mask the glazing and glue it with cement for canopies. The typical German mottled camouflage on the fuselage is best achieved with an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
