The 1:72 Boeing Chinook HC.1 cargo seats accessory from Eduard concentrates on the seats in the cargo compartment of the helicopter.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set on offer deals with a single but highly visible subject: the fittings of the cabin for the troops being carried. It is not a model of the machine but a photo-etched addition, which is installed into a kit under construction before the fuselage is closed. The focus on seats means the set makes sense above all if you plan to leave the ramp or the side doors open.
Folding seats along the walls of the cargo compartment are typical of heavy transport helicopters. They consist of a frame and a stretched fabric surface, so when not in use they take up a minimum of room and free the floor for cargo or slung materiel. It is exactly such an element that is hard to reproduce by injection molding in a small scale: a plastic part is necessarily thick, whereas thin sheet captures the shape of fabric stretched over a frame far better, and in a finished cabin that shows at first glance.
Try the assembly dry in advance, because once the fuselage is glued you will no longer reach it. Bend the frames step by step in small stages and watch that the rows of seats on both sides sit at the same height. Handle the painting separately outside the fuselage, and then you will reach everywhere with a brush. Finally unify the interior with a restrained wash and lighten the upper surfaces slightly, or the cabin will read as one dark mass once the model is closed.
The set complements a kit from another box. Glue and paints are not supplied with it.
