Responsibility details are not available.
This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model. Its subject is a Swedish-made rocket pod designated m/70 in 1:72 scale, and the name gives two pieces. The set is meant for modelers building an aircraft that carried this store and wanting a more accurate shape than the coarse kit part. CMK has specialized in detailed aircraft accessories for a long time.
The m/70 rocket pod came from the Swedish armament works Bofors and was carried on the outer pylons of Swedish Air Force combat aircraft. From the modeler's point of view it is an aerodynamic body with a distinctive shape that markedly changes the silhouette of the aircraft under the wing. External stores are among the parts where the difference between a simplified plastic part and an accurate accessory is obvious at first glance, because the body stands on its own with no surrounding detail to distract the eye.
The parts may be resin or plastic, so match the procedure to the material of the parts in the package. Wash resin castings in lukewarm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a disc and level the surface with a file; sand wet and with respiratory protection. Resin is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), plastic with ordinary modeling cement. Reinforce the pods with a short wire pin glued into the pylon, otherwise the joint holds on a small area only and snaps off easily. Before gluing, make sure both bodies hang at the same height and parallel to the axis of the aircraft; the easiest way to check that is to look from the front. Apply the paint to both pieces at the same time so that the shade matches, and keep the weathering restrained.
This is an accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
