Bristol Beaufighter porcupine exhausts 1:72 is a resin detail set of replacement porcupine exhausts for this British heavy fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set, not a stand-alone airplane model. It holds precisely cast replacement porcupine exhausts, that is exhausts with a cluster of flame-damping pipes, for a Bristol Beaufighter model in 1:72 scale. The parts replace the coarser or thick-walled items from the kit and markedly refine the detail of the engine nacelles.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy fighter and night fighter of the Second World War period. It was fitted with radial engines and was also used as a strike and torpedo machine. The porcupine exhausts with their cluster of short exhaust pipes are a characteristic feature of the night and later versions.
Wash the parts to remove any release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The exhaust outlets can be lightly hollowed out for effect; apply a fine base coat before painting.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
