The set replaces the exhaust pipes with the night version with flame damping, which kept the crew from being dazzled on night flights. It is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone accessory that raises the fidelity of the engine nacelles.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British twin-engine light bomber of the Second World War with radial engines. For night operations it carried modified exhausts with flame dampers, so that the hot gases would not give the machine away in the dark.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Drilling out the outlets and shading them brings out the detail. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
