This is a resin propeller set in the Finnish version with VL-type hub covers (spinners) for a model of the British light bomber aircraft the Bristol Blenheim in 1:72 scale. The set is not a standalone kit but a detail accessory: precisely cast propellers with a faithful profile of the blades and the characteristic Finnish spinners will replace the plastic parts from the box.
The Blenheims operated by the Finnish Air Force were marked by propeller spinners of Finnish manufacture, which differed in shape from the British treatment. The set makes it possible to build a model faithful to exactly that Finnish service. The propellers are used when building a corresponding model of the Blenheim in this scale.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand them down. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The propeller blades are thin, so handle them carefully. Protect your airways when sanding resin and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
