British Machinegun with crew 1939-1943 in 1:72 scale is a set of plastic figures of a British machine gun crew from Zvezda.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of injection-molded plastic figures from Zvezda shows a British machine gun crew of the years 1939 to 1943 in 1:72 scale. A heavy machine gun with its mount and the crew in combat poses are included. It is a snap-fit set that can be assembled even without glue; the assembled figures measure around 24 mm.
British infantry in the early years of the Second World War used heavy machine guns as the mainstay of firing positions. The crew was made up of two or three soldiers, who carried the weapon, took up a position and worked it. The figures are based on the period uniforms and equipment of the British army.
The parts are designed for assembly without glue, but a drop of cement for plastic will improve the joints. In a small scale a base coat from an airbrush and finishing with a brush prove themselves: the uniform, the skin and the equipment, and at the end a light wash in the folds and a dry brush on the edges.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
