The BTR-4E is a Ukrainian wheeled armored personnel carrier with 8x8 drive, a modernized version of the BTR-4 type meant for carrying infantry, fire support and reconnaissance. The version with the modified hull brings changes to the layout of the vehicle; service of this type is tied to the Ukrainian army. The design also includes add-on bar armor, which detonates the shaped-charge warheads of anti-tank weapons prematurely.
Given the high number of small parts, work carefully and in sub-assemblies. First finish the running gear and the hull detail, then close the hull up. A primer and an airbrush are recommended; create the weathering with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects. Glue the fine parts with a light touch, using cyanoacrylate glue where needed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
