It is not a standalone model but a larger accessory for experienced modelers, containing cast parts that replace or supplement the original kit. A conversion is more demanding than a simple detail part and assumes a sure hand at cutting and bonding resin.
The Hughes OH-6A Cayuse was an American light observation helicopter with a distinctive egg-shaped fuselage, nicknamed the Loach. It became famous in the Vietnam War, where it flew reconnaissance and liaison missions and, thanks to its small size and agility, operated low over the terrain.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw and sand the cut surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with plastic cement. Test the fit dry before painting, as resin may need a little cleaning up.
The set is supplied as a resin part, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a plastic kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
