A set of die-cut masking stencils for a model of the Blackburn Buccaneer S.2C in 1:72 scale. They are stuck on before spraying and save the laborious cutting of masks along a ruler.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Buccaneer is a British attack aircraft that came about for the Fleet Air Arm and was built for flying at low level over the sea. You will recognize it by its stocky fuselage with a waisted center section, its hinged nose section and the rotating bomb bay door into which the load was stowed from inside the fuselage. The S.2 series is the later and more capable version, and the letter after it distinguishes later modifications to the machines.
Masking stencils for a model of the Buccaneer S.2C in 1:72 scale. They are cut to shape in advance, so you only pop them out of the sheet and stick them in place; measuring, cutting and overlapping with tape are all avoided. The extent of the stencils is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Stick the masks onto a clean, degreased surface before you start spraying. Press the edges down properly so that paint cannot creep under them, and spray in thin coats; one thick coat will run under an edge sooner than three thin ones. Once dry, take the mask off slowly and at an angle to the surface, not straight up. Cover the large surrounding areas with extra tape or paper as needed, and the result will be cleaner.
The model kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
