The set from the DN Models brand is divided onto two sheets and contains fields for the whole strikingly divided finish of the heavy multirole machine. The cutouts are semi-transparent and flexible, which comes in useful on a Flanker with its rounded spine and its large transitions between fuselage and wing.
The Su-30MKI is the two-seat version developed for the Indian Air Force, with canards and thrust vectoring. It was precisely on these machines that the coloring nicknamed Blizzard appeared, whose icy, sharply broken fields caught the eye so much that one of the finishes of the American aggressor Fighting Falcons was modeled on it. The set thus connects two worlds of tactical aviation in an interesting way.
Plan the work from the lightest tone to the darkest, so that nothing has to be oversprayed. Before applying, wipe the airframe free of dust and degreaser residue, as otherwise a cutout will not adhere along its whole length. The extent of the masks is prepared to serve the ordinary Su-30 kits in this scale. Press the applied edges down with a blunt point as well, as otherwise paint will run under them and a field will bleed.
