An injection-molded plastic kit of the British jet bomber and night attack aircraft English Electric Canberra B(I) Mk.8 in 1:72 scale from Kovozavody Prostejov. It comes from an older mold in the Vintage edition, and the model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Canberra was the first British jet bomber to enter Royal Air Force service, at the start of the 1950s. It stood out for its high ceiling and performance, which long made it hard to intercept. The B(I) Mk.8 version was the attack variant with the pilot's cockpit offset to the left and the ability to carry both bombs and cannon armament. The type was exported and served with a number of countries.
With older molds, count on cleaning the parts up more carefully and on tuning the joints where needed. Glue the parts with a modeling cement for plastic and lay down a primer before painting. An airbrush helps with even camouflage coats, and the decals should be set on a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
