Spraying mask CASA C.212/C-41 1:72 from Art Scale - a one-sided self-adhesive mask for cleanly spraying the cockpit glazing and the wheels of models of the Spanish transport aircraft Aviocar.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks for 1:72 models of the Spanish turboprop aircraft CASA C.212 Aviocar (military designation C-41). These are one-sided masks cut from a quality masking film (the kabuki type) that cover the outer surfaces of the cockpit glazing and the landing gear wheels. It is not an aircraft model but a practical accessory for easy masking. The individual parts are marked with numbers for fast and precise application.
The CASA C.212 Aviocar is a Spanish twin-engine turboprop light transport aircraft with a boxy fuselage and fixed landing gear. It serves for carrying cargo and passengers, for airdrops and for other special tasks; in military service it carries the C-41 series designation in a number of countries. Thanks to its undemanding operation and its ability to work from short and unpaved strips it has spread all over the world.
Degrease the glazing and stick the masks on precisely along the engraved frames. A cockpit with a lot of glazing is easier to paint exactly with pre-cut masks. Apply the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge. Take the masks off while the paint is only set. The wheel masks give a sharp transition between the hub and the tire.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
