An injection-molded plastic kit of the Chinese fifth-generation fighter J-20 Mighty Dragon from Trumpeter in 1:72 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. For the exact package contents (the number of parts, decals, clear parts) go by the enclosed instructions.
The J-20 is a Chinese twin-engined heavy fighter with features of reduced radar signature (stealth). It is marked by an elongated fuselage, canard foreplanes and internal weapons bays. It is a modern type intended for air superiority and deep penetration; it has been in service since the mid-2010s and represents the peak of Chinese military aviation.
Take care over a clean fit of the fuselage parts for the sake of the smooth silhouette of the aircraft - fill the seams carefully and sand them down. Finish the cockpit before closing the fuselage. An airbrush is suitable for the gray stealth schemes; be patient with the subtle transitions of shade and paint in thin coats. Pick out the panel lines with a restrained wash, so that the model does not look dirty, and unify the surface with a semi-gloss to matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
