A resin detail set of the Brassin line for experienced modelers. It is NOT a model in its own right but an accessory that replaces the engines of the plastic kit of the Consolidated B-24H Liberator heavy bomber in 1:72 scale. The set brings complete radial engines with finer detail than plastic offers, completed by a photo-etched fret (small plumbing and panels) for faithful power plants.
The B-24 Liberator was a four-engine American heavy bomber of the Second World War with a characteristic high-mounted wing. It was powered by four air-cooled radial engines; rendering them faithfully therefore lifts the realism of the model markedly.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash the mold release agent off them and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); bend and fit the fine photo-etch with tweezers. Sand with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting and weather the engines with a wash and dry brushing. Check the fit against your own plastic kit.
This is a resin detail set with photo-etch, not a model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
