The basic set of the popular Flex-i-file frame sander. It contains a solid aluminum frame and a set of abrasive strips in various grades. A narrow abrasive strip is drawn taut in the frame, and thanks to the springy tension it follows shaped and convex surfaces faithfully, without the flat spots that arise with rigid files and sanding blocks.
The tool is ideal for removing mold seams, burrs and flash from plastic and metal parts, for cleaning up rounded surfaces and edges and for sanding in places a rigid file cannot reach. A narrow strip goes into grooves and cramped places too. The abrasives can be used dry or wet.
This is a modeling tool, not a kit. The exact composition of the set and the grades of the strips are as stated by the manufacturer.
