1:72 Cooking pots is a diorama accessory: kitchen pots in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of a vehicle but small equipment for a scene, for field and civil settings alike.
Responsibility details are not available.
Cookware is one of the simplest ways to give a scene life. Pots standing by a fireplace, lined up on a shelf or loaded on a truck bed tell the viewer that people really live and work in the scene, without drawing attention away from the main model. The accessory is prepared for 1:72 scale and is added to a scene that is already built.
The pots suit field kitchens and camp settings, country yards, kitchens, larders and workshops, but also the load bed of vehicles and carts as part of the cargo. In 1:72 scale they work above all as a group: a few pieces together by a fireplace or against a wall look more natural than a single piece on its own in the middle of an open space.
Lay the small parts out on a piece of double-sided tape so that the air from the airbrush does not blow them away, and handle them with tweezers. A primer coat is in order here too. A dark steel or graphite shade will manage the metallic look, lightly polished with a dry brush once it has dried; enamelware is painted in a light opaque tone with dark chips. Darken the bottoms and the sides that stood over the fire with soot pigment, because this is the detail that makes the difference between a toy and a model. Finally, unify the surface with a matte varnish and leave the gloss only where a vessel has a greasy or well-handled surface.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
