An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Cromwell Mk IV cruiser tank with a type C hull (Hull type C). This variant captures the vehicle equipped for deep wading - with extensions and sealing for landing from landing craft. Besides the plastic parts the box contains a photo-etched part and decals; go by the instructions for the exact contents.
The Cromwell was a British cruiser (fast) tank of the Second World War, valued for its high mobility thanks to the Rolls-Royce Meteor engine. It was committed above all from the Normandy landings of 1944 onward. The deep wading equipment let tanks drive through shallow water from landing ships onto the beach without the engine being flooded.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic and the photo-etched part with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Finish the running gear and the road wheels before closing the hull. Washes and pigments suit the weathering - dust, mud and emphasis on the rivets and the cast texture. On the wading extensions, consider light traces of corrosion and wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
