Responsibility details are not available.
This decal set from the Czech firm Eduard contains national insignia for a model of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-4 fighter in 1:48 scale. It comes in useful as a replacement for an older or poor-quality sheet from a kit, when building a machine in alternative markings, or anywhere the decals from the kit cover the surface badly.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-4 was a version of the successful single-engine fighter with the BMW 801 radial engine, introduced into service at the turn of 1942 and 1943. It differed from the previous version among other things in modified radio equipment; an external recognition feature is the short aerial mast at the top of the rudder. The type served on the Western and the Eastern Front and in the Mediterranean.
Apply the decals over a gloss surface, which will prevent silvering. Dip the sheet briefly in lukewarm water, slide the decal into place with a soft brush and press the water out from under it. Setting solutions will help the insignia settle into the engraved lines and the riveting; once perfectly dry, overcoat the whole model.
This is an accessory - the aircraft kit is not included in the package.
