A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models, intended for the Aero L-29 Delfin jet trainer. The sheet covers five camouflage variants, so several differently marked machines can be built from one kit. The package holds decals only, not a model.
The L-29 Delfin is a two-seat jet trainer of Czechoslovak design from the Aero works. It has seats in tandem with a raised rear position for the instructor, a straight wing and a high-mounted tailplane forming a T. It came about as a simple, durable machine for basic and advanced jet training, able to work even from grass strips. It was built in large numbers and served in a number of countries, and later some of the machines passed into civil hands.
The Delfin is often built in an all-metal silver or in a colorful training scheme, where every edge of a decal stands out on the smooth surface. Varnish the base with gloss clear coat, then. Cut the design out closely, soak it in lukewarm water and let it rest until the film releases. Move it onto the model, line it up against the engraved lines and soak the surplus water up. Once dry, use a softener and finally spray the whole model with a varnish of the sheen you want, so that the markings look sprayed on.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
