Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory from the Ukrainian brand Armory, the manufacturer's part number ARACA7278. It is a weapons set in 1:72 scale, namely S-3K unguided anti-armor rockets seated on multi-tube APU-14U launcher racks, not an airplane model. The rack was hung under the wing or the fuselage and carried a larger number of rockets together, so the set noticeably changes the look of the stores. Armory makes the same armament in 1:48 as well, under the part number ARACA4814.
The S-3K, also designated KARS-160, is a Soviet 160 mm unguided rocket intended to destroy armored targets. The rocket weighed around 23.5 kilograms and had a range of about two kilometers. At least 12800 were made and they were carried on APU-14 and APU-14U racks on Sukhoi Su-7B ground-attack aircraft and on their later developments. It was a weapon for the direct support of ground forces, where a whole salvo was fired against vehicles and fortifications.
Wash the castings free of mold release agent and cut the casting blocks off so that the seating face of the rack stays square. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; a primer coat is mandatory. Paint the rockets separately before you seat them, because the warhead usually differs from the body and period photographs also show color bands on the rocket body. Keep the rack in the shade of the aircraft underside and pick out only the guide rails.
For modelers of Soviet ground-attack aircraft in 1:72 who want the stores to be more accurate than the ones in the kit. Check the fit with the pylons of your kit against the box.
It is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
